We invite you to explore the You Can Play Collge Sports website filled with excerpts
from our book, Keep Playing! We know that the labyrinth of applying to college academic
and sports programs can be confusing, discouraging and downright off putting. We hope
that both our book and this website can give you some insight into the world of college
sports and the opportunities provided to young people. We believe that Keep Playing! can
give you a template for helping your son or daughter make their dream a reality! Please
check here as well as under Promotional Schedule to see when we might be doing a
Presentation and Q and A in your area. And, check here for updates about the book,
author signings, and other special promotions.

We wrote Keep Playing! because of our daughter's experience. She wasn't a superstar
athlete with lots of high school awards and she didn't decide to play her sport in college
until January of her senior year in high school, late to say the least. The process of
helping her achieve her goals was a baptism of fire. We learned fast about Division I, II
and III, about conference and region play, athletic websites, rules about contacting
coaches and much more. While we had always known about the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA,
taking your student athlete through the process really uncovered so much more about
these as well as other associations we had never heard of.

And, when it was all said and done, we wondered how many other student athletes and
their parents were out there trying to do the same thing, helping their "non-superstar"
athletes continue playing their sport in college. So, what began as a few notes to friends
about our daughter's experience became a book. Our caveat in all of this is, obviously,
your child has to have some talent (real ability, not wishful parent thinking) and the desire
to continue playing. But, if these two ingredients exist, then there is a college program
out there for them. Read our book and peruse this site for tips and insights on the college
athletic application process. Enjoy the ride with your son or daughter. The journey is
worth it!
